NAAAHR-Tampa Bay offers volunteer efforts to our members. Committees are designated to meet immediate and long-range needs for the chapter and the community we serve. Members who participate in a committee often connect with their peers and sharpen their leadership skills.

Finance Committee: The Finance Committee is responsible for managing the funds of the organization and establishing appropriate internal controls. Annually this committee will develop the organization’s budget, and revise working budgets for the current year as required. The Finance Committee shall make recommendations regarding the approval of all expenditures outside the approval budget and may form a budget committee if required. The Vice President of Finance will serve as Chairperson. The committee shall meet on the call of the President or Vice President of Finance.
Program Committee: The Program Committee shall prepare the ongoing programs that will be presented at the regular meetings and the annual meeting and will arrange for speakers and other special activities as appropriate and approved by the Board of Directors. The President shall appoint a member to serve as Committee Chairperson.
Membership Committee: The Membership Committee will be responsible for maintaining the growth and retention of members of the Corporation. The Vice President of Membership will serve as Committee Chairperson and the Committee will meet on the call of the President or Vice President.
Bylaws Committee: The By-laws Committee shall maintain the by-laws of the Corporation and present changes for vote as required by other sections of these by- laws. The President shall appoint a member to serve as Committee Chairperson.
Non-dues Revenue Committee: The Non-dues Revenue Committee will identify and acquire chapter meeting, advertising and event sponsors who are willing to assist the chapter financially in return for an opportunity to promote their products or services to members and supporters.
Legislative Committee: The Legislative committee will identify and update the chapter on all HR law and policy updates. The legislative committee will prepare and present at a chapter meeting an annual legislative update. The President shall appoint a member to serve as Committee Chairperson.
